Capsule Geology

The Todagin showing area is underlain by Upper Triassic to Lower Jurassic undivided volcanic rocks.

A 1 metre channel sample, taken from a steep cliff section of intermediate maroon volcanic rock containing minor hematite staining, graded 1.7 grams per tonne silver and 0.089 per cent arsenic with very weakly elevated values in copper, molybdenum, zinc, lead and antimony (Sample TGMG18-002R, Assessment Report 37788). Three separate zin plus/minus silver plus/minus copper soil anomalies were outlined in 2018 (Anomalies A, B and C). They are all characterized by moderately to strongly anomalous values for zinc with or without weak to moderate values for silver and copper. Anomaly A is located in the western part of the property, in the vicinity of rock sample TGMG18-002R. It comprises a 350-metre-long string of weakly to strongly anomalous values for zinc (199 to 580 parts per million) along with weak silver and copper values.

Work History.

The first reported work in the Todagin area was in 2010, when Solitaire Minerals completed a geological and geochemical survey over the Todagin property, collecting 11 rock, 360 soil and 50 silt samples. They reported low geochemical values for copper, gold, and all elements of interest.

In 2013, Cazador Resources completed a geochemical sampling program and took a total of 48 soil, 1 silt and 14 rock samples over parts of the Todagin property. Cazador reported subdued geochemical results for base and precious metals, and pathfinder elements.

In 2018, Hawkeye Gold and Diamond Inc collected a total of 38 rock, 251 soil and 18 stream samples from the Todagin property.
